Walk for Tibet, Washington, DC to New York City

Last month, I had the pleasure of covering a very special event.  Kunga Norbu, the nephew of The Dalai Lama, set out on a walk from Washington, DC to New York City.  The beginning of the journey started with a protest in front of the Chinese Embassy in northern DC and then the group walked 6 miles south to the White House for the rest of the protest.  From there, Kunga and a few fellow walkers set out on their 10 day walk to New York City.  I was fortunate to take part in the walk in Washington and on their final day in New York as they approached the UN Building.  These are some of the photos I took on those 2 days.
